The 7th Vietnam Security Summit 2025 wrapped up successfully on May 23, 2025, at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City. The event welcomed over 1,000 attendees including C-suite leaders, technology experts, policymakers, and enterprise representatives from Vietnam and abroad. It was widely regarded as one of Vietnam’s premier forums for breakthrough ideas, cutting-edge technology solutions, and strategic perspectives on the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Generative AI is now one of the most heavily invested technology fields, yet many organizations remain underprepared for the cybersecurity risks that come with it. AI models are processing vast volumes of sensitive data during training, while business leaders are simultaneously racing to apply AI for operational gains. Together, these forces are making security vulnerabilities more serious than ever.
According to the IBM Institute for Business Value, 96% of business leaders are concerned about a security breach within the next three years as a direct result of Generative AI adoption. Acting early and acting right is now a matter of survival.
At the summit, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khang, Regional Director, Data & AI Group, IBM ASEAN, introduced the IBM Framework for Securing Generative AI. The framework helps enterprises, partners, and organizations worldwide identify the most common attack vectors targeting AI systems and prioritize the right defenses to protect AI initiatives quickly and effectively.
